Driveway and job-site glass work across Throggs Neck, generally thirty to sixty minutes on site at shop pricing, with a windshield at $250 to $450 for most vehicles. No trip charge for a Bronx address. Driveways out here make this one of the easiest neighborhoods for mobile work.

This is the part of the borough where mobile service is genuinely simplest, because most houses have a driveway and most work vehicles are parked at one. A driveway gives us level ground, room around the vehicle and no traffic to work beside, which is everything the job needs. Contractors booking around a crew's start time are the most common callers, and the arrangement that suits them is usually first thing, before the truck goes out, or last thing, once it is back.
On site we do the full process rather than an abbreviated version. The old pane comes out without damaging the frame, exposed metal gets primed, fresh urethane is laid and the glass is set to spec. Then the vehicle sits for its stated cure time, which is the part people are tempted to shortcut and the part we will not. Cameras get recalibrated where the vehicle carries them, and if a particular model has to be done in the shop we say so when you book rather than after we arrive. Tempered door and quarter glass is easier again, since it needs no cure at all and the truck can be loaded the moment we finish testing the window.
“Very friendly and professional workers. We did a windshield change, and one of the windows wasn't winding up. It fell off the track. They were so helpful. The price for the windshield was the most inexpensive by far. Compared to other…”

The weather rule bites harder out here than inland, and it is worth planning around. Wind coming off the water carries salt and grit, and neither belongs in a fresh urethane bead, so on a genuinely blowy day we will position the vehicle to shelter the working side or move the appointment. Cold matters too, since a windshield fitted in a hard freeze does not reach strength the way it should. Driveways in Country Club and Edgewater Park are otherwise ideal, and job sites out toward the point work fine as long as the truck can stand still for the fitting and the cure. If the vehicle has to leave in twenty minutes, that is the one situation where bringing it down to us is the better call.
Same service, same price, other Bronx neighborhoods:
That is the arrangement most contractors here end up with. Early slots mean the truck is glassed and cured before the working day begins, and we would rather book that properly than try to catch a vehicle between jobs. Tell us when the truck needs to be moving and we will work backwards from it, including the cure time, so the schedule is real.
A job site is fine provided the vehicle can stand still, the ground is reasonably level and we have room around the glass. What does not work is a site where the truck is needed on and off through the hour, since bonded glass has to sit undisturbed while it cures. Chip repairs are the exception and can be done in the middle of anything.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
