Morris Park windshields are same-day when we hold the glass, with roughly half an hour of fitting and about an hour of cure. Most vehicles run $250 to $450 installed, more with a camera system. Shift workers can leave the car in the hospital lot and we come to it.

Getting a windshield changed while you are working a twelve-hour rotation is the single most useful thing we do for this neighborhood. The car is already parked and going nowhere. We turn up, fit the glass, and it cures in the same spot it was going to sit in anyway. All we need beforehand is the lot, the level, a vehicle description and a plate, plus a way through the barrier if the lot is gated.
Everything else is the usual sequence. Old glass out without damaging the frame, bare metal primed, new moldings and urethane, then a safe drive-away time you can rely on. If your vehicle carries a forward camera we recalibrate it, and that is one job where the shop genuinely beats a car park: calibration wants level ground and clear space in front of the vehicle, which a hospital deck does not always provide. When that is the case we will say so and suggest bringing the car down to Garrison Avenue instead of doing half a job on site. The same goes for a deck too low for our van to get under, which is worth checking before the appointment rather than at the barrier. Give us the lot and the posted clearance when you book and none of that costs you a morning.
“Good work and honest shop, have been here a couple of times. Never had any problem or had to return to fix anything. One thing I noticed is that the common glass is kept on site, but uncommon glass is not. Was in and out in 30 mins for an…”

Patient transport vehicles and ambulettes are the other regular here, and they raise a scheduling problem rather than a technical one. Those vans run booked appointments all day, so the vehicle is not available for a morning, it is available for ninety minutes between two runs. That is enough for the fitting but not for the cure, which means the sensible plan is the last job of the day: fit it in the evening, let it cure overnight, and the van starts clean the next morning. We would rather arrange that than hand back a vehicle with green adhesive and hope it holds through a shift of speed bumps and hospital driveways. The other thing worth knowing here is that a van on commercial plates cannot use the Hutchinson River Parkway to reach us, so the surface roads and the Bruckner are the route either way. Cars have the shortcut. Working vehicles do not.
Same service, same price, other Bronx neighborhoods:
The camera is aimed against a reference at a set distance and height, so a sloped deck or a cramped bay throws the whole setup off. A calibration done on uneven ground can read as complete and still leave the system misjudging distances. If the parking level is not suitable we will fit the glass and ask you to bring the vehicle in for the calibration step.
Usually, but we need you to clear it first. Some lots require a contractor pass or a call to security, and we would rather know that in advance than have a technician turned away at the barrier. Give us the entrance, the level and your plate when you book. There is no trip charge for a Bronx address either way.
