From College Point or Whitestone, take the Whitestone Bridge north, follow the Cross Bronx or Bruckner Expressway westbound, and exit at Hunts Point Avenue. Garrison Avenue is a short turn from the ramp. From Bayside or Astoria, the Throgs Neck Bridge and the Bruckner work better. Twenty to thirty minutes depending on the crossing. Commercial plates should avoid the Cross Island Parkway and stay on the expressways, which is the route we would use ourselves with a van full of glass.
